New album out soon!

This is way overdue!

Through the week of October 5th-10th, I was in Nashville at Battle Ridge Studios recording my next album with friend and Grammy-award winning engineer Phil Harris. Also helping me out there was Michael Dufresne and Rob Edwards from Arnett Hollow (Louisville, KY), Clayton Campbell (KY opry, the Gibson Brothers), Mike Witcher (Missy Raines and the New Hip, mikewitcher.com), and my dear friend Andrew Sovine (Kink Ador). The songs really came to life with the help of those guys. It was awesome.

Any further information on everything and I will let you know, but everything will probably be ready for your ears near the end of December or so, and ready for your iPod/CD players around then or later. Until then, check out the video attached below! It's only a small preview!

Kelsey

"Waitin' on my man" live @ the Comet in Cincinnati, Ohio!

Cincinnati is a really nice city and the music scene is really cool there. I wish I could have stayed longer, but for now...all I have is this video!

Kansas, Iowa, and Omaha summed up all in one!

Check out this new video of the first 3 dates of our tour! It has been a blast and such a delight to be able to do this. We have met some wonderful people. Enjoy!

My very first post...ever.

I figured I should start doing this because it's way easier to blog on here then on myspace. I will blog important things on myspace but here I can just blog about anything...right? I hope people can keep up with me easier on this thing, but after all, it could be a failed attempt!

Here's to today, with a photo I just received from friends all the way out near Columbia, Kentucky, that you can see at the top of the post.

Big Foot likes me. He really, really likes me!

On a record spinning note, I am absolutely in love with Madeline's new "White Flag" album.
You can find her at www.myspace.com/madeline songs and either order her music from her website or download it off itunes! I am also spinning (though I am not really "spinning" the record but rather listening to it on my ipod, it just sounds cool) Death Cab for Cutie's new EP and Gillian Welch's "Soul Journey".

Thanks for reading!

Love,
Kelsey
